  There was a pretty cool cat on my table for the entire night. My food smelt like cat piss through and through, si my best guess is that piss is their 'secret ingredient'. LOL NOT SO SECRET ANYMORE. No really, this restaurant is shite.

  As my partner's first time to Canada, The Keg made a great first impression. We enjoyed phenomenal bread, brie, soup, fish tacos, and a mini brownie dessert, all of which I would recommend. I don't eat meat, but my coworkers raved about the steak (Be warned: the horseradish is strong!). We parked in a lot down the street for $4, but there turned out to be free parking at the restaurant. The waitstaff were extremely professional, and although the final bill was expensive, I'd say it was well worth it.

  great service! watiress was very friendly and checked on us more than once. I ordered a medium-well New York Peppercorn steak. It came out well done. Waitress offered to get a whole new steak re-done. New steak came out within probably 10mins or so. And it was perfect. We decided to order desert(Billy Miner Pie), and they gave it to us complimentary as a kind gesture for the inconvenience of the steak.
  
  now THAT is great customer service! (which is so hard to find these days) I will definitely go back there for sure.

  Yea, this place has unlimited bread if you ask nicely so it's at least a 4.5 rating in my book. I ordered the escargot to seem fancy to everyone else, turns out that dish is actually amazing! Tiny morsels of snail stuffed in mushrooms with decadent oils, crusted in light crumbs? I actually got extra bread to mop up all of the oil. That made it 5 stars. Also, the waitress didn't judge me at all for doing it. 6/5 stars. The Keg Steakhouse + Bar. Come here for your birthday, leave here learning that you love snail and have no shame in eating 5 sides of bread.
